Kanye's battle for the spotlight!

Controversy will keep you in news and that is exactly where Kanye West wants to be.

I enjoy his music and I think he is very talented, however his arrogance annoys the hell out of me.

Give me a break! How in the hell can a rapper/producer, who produces music and has written music himself that glorifies, what my dad the pastor would call "things of the world" or "worldly pleasure" and then compare himself to Jesus Christ! WTF?

That's ignorance at it's best. His infamous, "George Bush doesn't care about Black People" comment heard 'round the world (as true as it may be) was another example of how little sense this dude has. It was the wrong time and the wrong place to express that view, even if I agree with it. That wasn't going to generate publicity for Katrina victims and make the donations start pooring in.

Now back to this preposterous notion that he is anything like or remotely similar the Jesus. The picture doesn't offend me. Tupac protrayed himself on the cross, as has many others. Jesus has been represented in pictures, movies, books, so Kanye taking a picture with a crown of thorns is tacky if anything but I am not offended by it.

I am, however, astounded by how he can fix himself to say that he, like Jesus, had to fight for recognition! Get the fuck out of here! Jesus never looked for recognition from anyone, he was a humble man, which Kanye is farthest from. Nothing wrong with confidence but lets not lose our mind in the process. Especially when you admit that you are addicted to porn, which makes you creepy on top of that.

Kanye, good artist - poor personality.
